After nearly a decade as a teacher, Emily followed her passion into real estate, earning a master’s degree from UW’s Runstad Department of Real Estate. She and her husband, Jeff, went on to launch NW Modern Builds, a Bainbridge-based residential construction company rooted in craftsmanship, livability, and the island community that raised her.
